Starting around 1990, a skilled and savvy technician provided expert Apple support to major broadcasters like the BBC and ITV.
He also supported renowned artists and musicians including George Michael, Gerry Rafferty, Deep Purple (David Gilmour), Jeff Wayne, and many noted celebrities who are best kept anonymous to respect their privacy.
As demand for Apple expertise grew, he expanded into freelance consultancy, working with high-profile corporate clients like Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest Bank, TUI, IPC Media, TIME Magazine, Time Inc, NME, Marie Claire, Wallpaper, amongst other well-known media companies.
Throughout this time, he began offering his skills to film studios including Warner Bros, Elstree and Leavesden. His technical skills were called upon for major productions such as Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, The Night Manager, and many more.
Seeing a gap in the Mac user market for reliable, affordable and independent Apple support in London, he launched MacEmergency — the city’s first 24/7/365 technical support service.
